What makes Interwoven Yoga unique is our ability to bridge two worlds: the built environment and the wellness experience.
Several years ago, I was taking a yoga break in the wellness room at my office when a thought crossed my mind:
Why aren't more buildings using spaces like this to bring people together?
As I looked around, I started noticing it everywhere: beautiful conference rooms, fitness centers, lounges, patios, and amenity spaces that sat empty for much of the day. These thoughtfully designed environments held so much untapped potential to create moments of connection, well-being, and community.
That idea stayed with me for years.
Working in commercial real estate while advocating for workplace wellness and sustainability, I kept coming back to the same belief: wellness doesn't have to happen somewhere else. What if it was woven into the places where we already work, live, and gather? What if yoga and wellness was integrated within the rhythms of the workday?
That question became Interwoven Yoga & Wellness.
Interwoven yoga is designed to partner with commercial properties, forward-thinking employers, residential communities, and organizations to transform underused spaces into vibrant places where people genuinely want to spend time. Through thoughtfully curated yoga, meditation, and wellness programming, we help create experiences that foster connection, reduce stress, and bring everyday environments to life.
Whether it's a lunchtime yoga class on a rooftop patio, a guided meditation in a conference room, or a wellness event that brings neighbors or coworkers together, every program is designed around the unique culture and community of each client.
For organizations with remote or hybrid teams, we also offer live virtual yoga and meditation sessions that make it easy to support employee well-being from anywhere. Whether your team works from home full-time or splits time between the office and home, our online offerings help create moments of connection, movement, and mindfulness that fit naturally into the workday.
To ensure every client receives exceptional programming and instruction, Interwoven proudly partners with Melissa Mackey, owner of NOW Yoga PDX, one of Portland's most respected community-centered yoga organizations. Melissa and I first met when she led my 200-hour yoga teacher training, and I was immediately drawn to her thoughtful teaching style and commitment to making yoga welcoming and accessible for everyone.
Together, we combine my background in commercial real estate, design, and workplace strategy with Melissa's decade of teaching experience and leadership across three Portland-area studios. Her extensive experience teaching yoga in corporate environments including WeWork, Adidas, Hanna Andersson, and other workplace settings, ensures every class is delivered with expertise, professionalism, and care.
At Interwoven, we believe great spaces have the power to do more than house people. With thoughtful programming, they become places that build community, support well-being, and enrich everyday life.
Here's to weaving wellness into the everyday.
